Calendar and Term Dates

From the first day of term to the last, the Churston calendar is shaped by learning, celebration, and the kind of moments that stay with students long after they leave.

Parents' evenings

Our parents’ evenings are a chance to have focused conversations with subject teachers about your child’s progress, achievements, and next steps. Each year group has set dates across the year, with appointments held via video call for convenience.

Year 7: 30th April & 7th May 2026

Year 8: 5th March & 12th March 2026

Year 9: 5th February & 12th February 2026

Year 11: 20th November & 27th November 2025

Year 12: 26th March 2026

Year 13: 23rd October 2025

Year 10 parents’ evening will be in person (further information will be communicated to parents/carers and students nearer the time)

Year 10: 4th June 2026 – 4:15pm to 7pm

Information evenings

Information evenings are designed to help you navigate key points in your child’s journey, such as choosing options, joining Year 7, or moving into the Sixth Form. They offer a chance to hear from senior staff, ask questions, and understand what to expect in the years ahead.

Year 8 Options Evening: Thursday 26th February 2026 6-8pm

Year 9 Information Evening: Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at 6pm

Sixth Form Open Evening: Wednesday 12th November 2025 6-8pm

Open Day: Thursday 25th June 2026
